Journey:

I’m still rather unsure about how well the song works with this video, but with the story it tells and the marvelous editing that matters little to me. This is a great, beautifully edited look at Spike’s relationships with Cecily, Dru, Harmony, Buffy, Anya and finally Fred that I really enjoy. Especially the highlighting of all the great season 5 Spike/Fred moments, which I loved on Angel and in this video.



This was the best video! Woah. I mean, I groaned when I found out what the song was…thinking “oh man” I have to listen to this really dumb song. Trust me, I changed my tune after the first 30 seconds. I loved it! It fit perfectly. I love how you described his relationships as well: the first, the queen, the substitute, the fire, and the one. It was—Awww. It doesn’t even have a word, just a sound. It was so unique and exciting, and wonderfully edited.



Normally I'm a Spuffy shipper all the way but your video let me see that maybe Fred would have been a good choice for Spike after all. Still think they should be good friends though. Going back through all of Spike's relationships with Cecily, Drusilla, Harmony, Buffy, and Fred really made me nostalgic. The music picked up at just the right moments and the editing really fit well with the story. Great AU video.



I love the idea of telling Spike's story, his journey as a man and a lover through his eyes...and to Fred. As a tale. It's honest, painfully so, at times, but true...Great editing, I especially love the amber light of LMPTM fading into sepia...it made me go: wow! I loved how you portrayed Fred as the listener who, in the end, comes to a decision...and runs after Spike. Could she have been "the one"? Your video made it seem possible...well done!!

Wow for this vid. I love the story you told here. The overlays gave it a very nice touch.
This is probably one of the better Spike vids that I have seen in a long time. Very nice job!

My Journey - This was a really neat idea and you really did a great job with it.  You told his story so well throughout the vid.  I really loved the fade to Black & White at :41.  I loved the overlays of Buffy beating Spike with Buffy saving Spike.  This was very well done.  Great job!
